Meet The Team
Wade Tamblyn
PRESIDENT
Wade Tamblyn founded Greyspace Maintenance Inc. in 2017, building on a foundation of 15 years in Commercial Property Maintenance to create a company that provides industry leading reliability, professionalism, innovation, and quality of service.
Prior to creating Greyspace, Wade was the President at Valley Enterprises Ltd., a Commercial Snow Removal company, from 2013 to 2017 and the Business Manager from 2005 to 2013. In addition to Commercial Property Services, Wade spent years as a Commercial Banker with TD Bank articling and working as an Associate at Lorne w Kay and Associates, CMA.
A passionate, strategically minded customer- first executive, Wade has a proven track record in a highly competitive, innovative, and dynamic environment.
Wade holds a Diploma of Finance from BCIT, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Fraser Valley, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Fredericton. He lives in White Rock, BC with his wife and children.
Darren Cress
VP of OPERATIONS
VP of SNOW REMOVAL
Darren Cress joined Greyspace Maintenance in 2017 after decades in the construction and commercial property services industries to help provide the operational support necessary to run an industry leading organization.
Responsible for the quality of our service, leading the implementation of new technologies, and helping to coordinate the operations of our different divisions, Darren’s passion and attention to detail are reflected in his work.
Darren lives with his wife and young family in Vancouver, BC.
Justin Speers
VP of LINE PAINTING
Justin Speers came to Greyspace Maintenance with the acquisition of Dura-Line Painting Ltd. in 2021. Justin has over 10 years’ experience running Line Painting operations which he uses to provide an industry-leading level of quality.
Innovation and attention to detail are two areas where Justin helps Greyspace Maintenance outshine the competition and ensure our clients become advocates for our services.
Justin lives in Ladner, BC.
Mark Tamblyn
VP of OKANAGAN OPERATIONS
Mark Tamblyn joined Greyspace Maintenance as VP of Snow Removal in 2017 after his retirement as the owner of Valley Enterprises Ltd., a successful commercial snow removal company started in 2005.
With over 15 years’ experience providing Commercial Snow Removal services for clients such as the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, BC Ferries, BC Place, GM Place, Impark, WestPark, Science World, Superstore, and a host of other large commercial and industrial properties, Mark has the skills and knowledge necessary to make sure Greyspace’s Snow Clearing and Salting services lead the industry in reliability and quality of service.
Mark has a Bachelor of Science from UBC and a Master of Education from Western Washington University and lives with his wife in Summerland, BC.
Corey Kalve
VP of COMMERCIAL PAINTNG
Corey Kalve joined Greyspace Maintenance during the merger with Vancouver Pearl Painting Inc. in 2020. Corey has almost 30 years’ experience in the commercial painting industry starting in 1993 with Pearl Painting Inc.
Corey uses his attention to detail and decades of experience to make sure Greyspace provides an industry-leading quality of service when it comes to interior and exterior commercial and industrial painting.
Corey lives in Abbotsford, BC with his daughter.
Houston Willick
VP of LANDSCAPING
Houston Willick joined Greyspace Maintenance in 2017. Prior to working for Greyspace, Houston worked in the Landscaping Service and Landscaping Supply industries for almost a decade.
With a passion for innovation and green technology, Houston is a leading force for environmental responsibility in the company and is spearheading the company’s transition to becoming a net-zero greenhouse gas emitter.
Houston lives in Burnaby, BC with his wife and two young boys.
George Gesic
VP of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
George Gesic joined the team at Greyspace Maintenance in January of 2022, bringing his extensive background in managing construction and maintenance projects to help the company drive its future growth.
George is proud of his Indigenous background and has spent decades developing relationships with different First Nation’s across BC. He lives on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) lands in North Vancouver and is active in promoting his heritage and community.
